Languedoc-Roussillon, the choice of diversity

La Grande-Motte enjoys an exceptional body of water: Aigues-Mortes bay is located between two wind systems, the Tramontane and the Mistral, and is protected from the sea by Espiguette point in the Camargue. However, you still need to be aware of strong easterly and south-easterly winds, which generate swells. La Grande-Motte port welcomes your yacht in an exceptional setting with unique architecture, labelled ‘20th Century Heritage’.

Aigues-Mortes bay offers excellent sailing conditions all year round. Charter a yacht with family or friends in the heart of the Camargue, then visit Sète, a town between the sea, canals and the Thau lagoon, known as the ‘Venice of Languedoc’.

Sail to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, capital of the Camargue located at the crossroads of the Rhône and the Mediterranean, a region of welcome and traditions. Explore this wilderness in a different way: offshore, with a boat rental. Between canals and the sea, there are plenty of sailing possibilities. Canet-en-Roussillon the famous seaside town with 9 kilometres of fine sandy beaches and Port Barcarès, with the authentic charm of a fishing port, marine lake, large beach, its iconic liner, ‘Le Lydia’, and the colourful atmosphere of the village markets.
