Croatia and its islands with a thousand and one faces

From Rijeka in the far north, to Dubrovnik, a city classified as a UNESCO cultural heritage site, the many archipelagos that you will find will allow you to cruise peacefully or to sail in a more athletic way in complete safety, knowing that there is always an island around for shelter, a cove for anchor or a port or a marina for a stopover.

A Mediterranean climate

The best season to hire a boat is late spring and early autumn, when the temperatures are more moderate, the sea calm and the winds more favourable. Before renting a boat, you need to learn about the prevailing winds that could blow at sea: the Bora, a dry north-easterly wind, the Jugo, a humid southerly wind, and the Maéstral, a summer wind from the northwest.
